Admission?

Enrolling your child at Rophine International School will open their eyes to a world of learning and a global community of students. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you about what your child’s needs, finding out whether we are the right school to share with you the responsibility of helping your children to develop and thrive.

Admission Process;

Booking

Nothing can replace a face-to-face visit and tour of our school – but when that isn’t possible, a Virtual Discovery Meeting is the next best thing. Once we’ve learned more about you and your family’s needs, we’ll arrange a convenient time for your personalised 1:1 meeting with our admissions team in which you can discover more about our educational offer and get answers to any questions you may have.

Application

Once you have made the decision to join our school, there are a few steps to take to before we offer a place. Parents / guardians complete a registration /admissions form and pay a remittance.

Assessment

For Rophine Kindergarten & Early Years – Year 2 applicants, we invite your child to spend some time in an age-appropriate class. The amount of time they spend with us varies according to the age of your child. This provides your child with an opportunity to meet future classmates and teaching staff. This observational visit also provides our teachers with an opportunity to assess your child’s level to assist in class placement.

Students will also be required to either complete an oral / written assessment according to their age.

For Kenya National Curriculum [Grade 1 – Class 8] & British National Curriculum [Year 3 –Year 9] applicants, we ask all students to complete a written assessment

Assessment

Subject to a successful assessment, the offer of a place is made.

We stress the total development of each child, spiritually, morally, intellectually, socially, emotionally & physically.
