CBC Curriculum Framework
Early Years Education Crèche - PP2
This stage caters to children aged 2 to 5 years old and focuses on foundational skills development through play-based learning, nurturing creativity, social skills, and early literacy and numeracy.
Lower Primary Education Grade 1 -3
Covering Grades 1 to 3, this stage emphasizes competency development in various subject areas, integrating skills, knowledge, and values. It encourages active learning and critical thinking.
Middle School Education Grade 4 - 6
For Grades 4 to 6, this stage continues to build competencies, with a focus on more complex skills in subjects like Mathematics, Science, Languages, Social Studies, and Religious Education.
Junior Secondary Education Grade 7 - 9
This stage spans Grades 7 to 9, further advancing competencies and knowledge across a broader range of subjects. It encourages students to explore and apply their learning in real-life contexts.
