RFGOS Signs Strategic MOU with Manipal Academy of Higher Education – Dubai Campus

Rophine Field Group of Schools has marked a significant milestone in its global education journey following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) – Dubai Campus. The landmark ceremony, recently held in Dubai, was the culmination of a structured engagement process that began last year and reflects a shared commitment to nurturing globally competitive, future-ready learners.

The partnership is designed to unlock a wide range of academic, professional, and experiential opportunities for Rophine International School and the wider Rophine family. Under the agreement, Rophine Field Group of Schools will actively promote MAHE Dubai’s academic programmes and provide structured guidance and support to students interested in pursuing higher education at the Dubai campus.

Eligible Rophine students will benefit from scholarships of up to 50% on annual tuition fees for Foundation programmes and up to 35% for Undergraduate programmes, applicable for the full duration of study, subject to academic performance and institutional policies. In addition, the partnership includes two Top Achiever Scholarships for outstanding A-Level students, offering 50% tuition support in the first year and 30% in subsequent years. Tuition fee concessions will also be extended to eligible Rophine Field Group of Schools staff members and their families, further reinforcing the partnership’s inclusive impact.

Beyond admissions support, the MOU provides for career webinars and workshops, on-campus experience days, academic camps, and priority participation in MAHE Dubai-led interschool competitions and academic events. As part of the collaboration, MAHE Dubai will conduct complimentary faculty development sessions annually and deliver career guidance workshops each year for students in Grades 10, 11, and 12. The partnership also includes institutional support for key Rophine school events, including graduations and academic festivals.

Anchored in Rophine’s guiding mantra, “No Child Left Behind,” the collaboration seeks to provide holistic opportunities for learner growth both inside and outside the classroom. By tapping into and nurturing individual talents and abilities, the partnership aims to produce learners who are globally connected, confident, and competitive in an increasingly dynamic world.

The Rophine delegation was led by the Group CEO and Co-founder, Dr. Boniface Owino, and flanked by the Chief Principal, International Campus, Miss Jackline Walker, and the Head of Technical Support – CEO’s Office, Mr. Wycliffe Songa, underscoring the Group’s strategic focus on impactful international partnerships.

The MAHE Dubai delegation was led by Dr. S. Sudhindra, Pro Vice Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education – Dubai Campus, alongside a distinguished team comprising: Mr. Sagar Paul – Lead, Corporate Alliances, School Outreach and Global Partnership Development (MENA Region), Mr. Anoop Kumar – Head of Admissions, MENA Region, Ms. Fridah Muteti – Admission Counsellor, Africa Region, Ms. Constance Daimon – Admission Counsellor, Africa Region and Ms. Anila Moloo – Manager, Admissions Support.

This partnership creates meaningful pathways for Kenyan students to access quality global education in Dubai, one of the world’s most dynamic hubs for academic and professional opportunity. Together, we are building a bridge that connects academic ambition with real-world outcomes across the Middle East and beyond.”

Echoing this sentiment, Dr. Boniface Owino, Co-Founder & Group CEO of Rophine Field Group of Schools, stated:

“This MoU creates a clear and supported pathway for our students to pursue their higher education aspirations in the Middle East. MAHE Dubai’s commitment to our students, teachers, and wider school community reflects a shared belief that educational excellence is built through collaboration. We look forward to actively promoting these opportunities and seeing our students succeed.”

Additional benefits under the MOU include customised summer workshops, sports-related scholarship opportunities, and the appointment of a dedicated coordination contact to ensure smooth implementation and sustained impact of the partnership.

This MOU represents more than a formal agreement—it is a shared vision to expand global access, strengthen academic pathways, and empower learners and educators alike, as Rophine Field Group of Schools continues to position itself as a leader in globally relevant, inclusive education.
